Towards end-to-end automation of market research: poll&roll launches automated reporting

For two years, poll&roll has been working on two major projects to democratize market research: simplicity and agility.

Simplicity at the center of our way of thinking

Our first objective is to make studies a simple tool, accessible to professionals in the sector as well as to entrepreneurs and SMEs. This rule now guides all our IT developments to enrich our platform, without degrading the user experience.

Agility through automation

In short, our second objective is to do things quickly, well and cheaply. poll&roll regularly works on tactical studies, put in place to meet simple and immediate challenges. These issues do not justify the budget of a traditional study but often require rapid decision-making. By relying on automation, we have the possibility of offering marketing research systems whose budgets are in line with these issues. In addition, our studies make it possible to obtain answers in a few days where traditional deadlines are counted in weeks or months.

Automation is now at the heart of Poll&Roll's business. By automating the repetitive tasks inherent to the research profession (entries, treatments, charting, etc.), we free up time within the poll&roll team, but also with our customers to allow us to focus on the steps that create value: analysis and advice.

Going further in automation: launch of an automatic reporting module in Powerpoint format

With this in mind, we worked on the integration of an automatic reporting module that allows the export of the results of our studies in Powerpoint format.

The results of our studies are available in real time on the poll&roll platform. From the first interviews, trends can be visualized in the form of graphs or tables. The appearance and content of the results can be customized to offer a report that meets everyone's preferences:

  • chart type selection
  • creating subtotals
  • Sort the answer items
  • filtering on sub-targets

From the last interview (or even during the field), it is now possible to export all the results in one click in Powerpoint format and receive a report by email after a few seconds. The charts are integrated in the native format into Powerpoint to make them easy to edit, as if they were created by the user.

And the customization possibilities do not end with the type of graph: poll&roll reports can be exported with any graphic chart, to use your company's colors, fonts, masks...
